# PitchMe > PitchMe is a free iOS and Android ear training app and game by MooseDev. It trains relative pitch — recognising intervals, scales, and chords by ear — in short, gamified rounds. PitchMe is a consumer mobile app, not an API. Its site is a landing page, a comparison hub with one page per competing app, a privacy policy, and terms. Most alternatives drill intervals and chord qualities in the abstract. - Closest in method is **Functional Ear Trainer**, which uses the same cadence-then-scale-degree exercise but for single notes only — no chords, harmony, or intonation. - **EarMaster** covers far more ground overall, including rhythm, dictation, and sight-singing, which PitchMe does not do at all.
